Dark Reads Review

If the movies Groundhog day and Hostel had a baby, you would be Somewhere near this book.
Matthew sent me a copy of this book for review, thank you!
This was my first read by this author and It Certainly won’t be the last
In this story we follow Ryan. Ryan wakes up to find himself Covered in blood and tied to a chair in a run down shed.
He has no memory of how he got there but he soon realises that he is being held by a figure who remains in the shadows with nothing but revenge on his mind.
As the torture gets more and more brutal Ryan trys to figure out what he could have possibly done to make this man want to inflict this level of pain on him.
Ryan discovers a truth that is much more terrifying than he Could ever have imagined.
I’m not going to say any more, it’s a short story and I don’t want to spoil anything.
This was an excellent and very extreme torture horror story with some really gnarly scenes and a twist that literally blind sides you.
I haven’t seen this book talked about nearly enough. It’s available now and If you enjoy your horror on the extreme side you should definitely check it out!
